Jay Jacobs

A yogi, therapist, engineer, artist, teacher, academic and poodle-evangelist, Jay is a middle aged man who is still exploring his vocational possibilities. Married to a fellow writer, cat-wrangler, fish-whisperer, poodle-evangelist, Jay lives with his furry, finned, feathered family in the wilds of upstate South Carolina while he works on his PhD in Rhetoric. In his non-existent spare time, Jay loves to play MMORPGs, discover new local micro-brews, cook, and work with wood.

Jay has been writing in one form or another since he first began to play Dungeons & Dragons (a long time ago), and began writing short stories and serial novels in the early 2000s. The idea for Lineage was proposed to him in 2004, and his first excursion into comic script writing began. He hopes to expand beyond published academic works into the realms of fantasy, science fiction, and further graphic novels.
